PE1293, Sami MultiNode is a protocol converter designed to connect up
to eight different SAMI Star to ABB MasterFieldBus. It consist of a circuit board
with three major parts: Power supply, Fieldbus communication and SAMI Star current loop communication.
The Fieldbus communication is made by a I8344 microprocessor and the eight
Sami/Sele communication links is handled by a Hitachi H8/532 microprocessor.
The two microprocessors are communicating thru a dual port memory.
